The Protea Bracket fits most trapezoidal sheet profiles, including pre-ssembled foam core panels (IMPs - Insulated Metal Panels).
Protea Bracket is mounted directly onto the crown of the trapezoidal sheet using stainless-capped screws (provided) or Bulb-Tite rivets (sold separately). It has been rigorously tested for load-to-failure results in sheeting only.
Pair with the PVKIT® for a rail-less solution – also ideal for both side-bolted and bottom-bolted rail mounting.

Exposed-Fastened Trapezoidal
Protea Bracket fastens into the sheeting and accommodates rib profiles with top width dimensions of up to 3” (76 mm).
Use to attach bottom-bolted rail, while providing height-adjustability.
Use to attach side-bolted rail, height-adjustable, L-Foot included.
Use to attach PVKIT (direct-attach™) for a lighter-weight solution.
Do not use an additional “L” foot with Protea Bracket. Added height increases moment arm resulting in an unstable assembly.
Secure through the holes using the stainless-capped, self-piercing S-5! fasteners or Bulb-Tite rivets. The Protea Bracket is mounted directly onto the sides of the crown of the roof panel, enabling module or rail attachment anywhere along the ribs.
Lapped Rib Installation Advisory
Due to variations in lapped ribs and sealant placement, installing these brackets on a lapped rib of trapezoidal panel profiles is not generally recommended. If your application requires fixing to a lapped rib, please contact our support team at [email protected].
