The S-5-MX clamp (“MX” for compatibility with panels common in Mexico) is a single part that fits on both single-folded and double-folded profiles. It is the perfect solution for direct-attach™ mounting (no need to use rails) with the PVKIT® 2.0. The MX can also be used to attach lifelines, walkways, combiner boxes, conduit, cable trays, and other Balance of System components (BOS).
Seamlessly install the clamp on the Knudson KR18, NewTech TRQ250, and the Zimmerman TSS2500, without puncturing the seam material and without violating the manufacturer warranty.
Minis Available
The MX Mini clamp is a more economical solution for lighter-duty attachments where Herculean holding strength is not required.
The H Mini clamp is a bit shorter than the standard MX with one setscrew rather than two.
All standard and Mini clamps undergo rigorous load testing. Negative load normal-to-seam testing (pull-up) is performed on all Mini clamps, and parallel-to-seam testing (drag load) is performed on all standard clamps.
